  • We make it as easy as it can be! You simply have to select the vessel, scent and send the label design over. Then we make and ship it to you!

Custom Label Info

What are the options for the label design?

  • We have 3 options for the design of the label:

Minimum Order Info

What is the minimum order for Private Label or Unlabeled?

With industry's lowest minimum for USA-manufactured products, you can start your own home fragrance line for as low as 11 units.

Unlabeled: Minimum Units Per Scent & Vessel: 10 units
Custom Labels: Minimum Units Per Scent & Vessel: 10 units

Total Order Minimum: $150

Can I order under the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

We aren’t able to go under the minimum order quantities/amount and keep wholesale pricing.

Lead Time

What is the lead time?

Orders will typically ship out between 5-10 business days. For larger orders, we will reach out to let you know the estimated ship date.

Our lead time does not include the shipping time/transit time.

Need your order sooner? Please email riverbirchcandleco@gmial.com before you place your order. Rush fee will apply (30% of total order).

  • For custom scents, it's really flexible. Typically, we make a replica scent of something you had in mind or make a blend of scents that you would like.

Shipping + Pick Up

What is the cost of shipping?

Shipping costs depend on where the order will be shipped, shipping method, what vessels and how many. The best way to confirm shipping costs is add everything you would like to order to the cart and begin the checkout process.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes, you can pick up your order. Please email us when you order that you would like to pick up your order at our Richardson workshop.

We will refund the shipping cost and send over our address promptly.

My package was returned to sender. Can you ship it back to me?

Yes, absolutley! Please send us an email at rivebirchcandleco@gmail.com with your order number and confirm the address is should go to. We will ship it once we get it and send an invoice over for the shipping.

Can candles be made in Custom Vessels?

  • We can make candles in almost ANY vessel. Please send us an email with the following info and we will give you a quote as soon as possible.

Candle Modifications

Can you add crystals or other toppings to the candles?

We don't add crystals ourselves but we have had some of our retailers add them once they receive them. I believe they use a heat gun for a bit to melt a small amount of wax before placing the crystal in and letting it cool.

Can you use a different type of wax (like coconut, beeswax or paraffin)?

We are not able to change the wax to a different kind.

Can the wax be dyed or colored?

We are not able to dye the wax of the candles.

About Our Products

Can River Birch Candle vessels be reused and recycled?

Yes! We encourage everyone to reuse and recycle cleaned candle containers. All River Birch candle containers are 100% recyclable.

 

What is the best way to care for a candle?

A lighted candle is an open flame. Be careful. Always keep candles away from drafts, heat sources, and anything flammable. Make sure burning candles are out of the reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.


The first burn of a candle is the most important. When lighting a candle for the first time, burn until wax melts across the entire surface to liquefy the entire top layer. If the wax does not melt from edge to edge of the container, it will create a “memory ring”. Once a candle has a memory ring, it will continue to tunnel and will never burn evenly.


Going forward, when you burn your candle, always allow the top layer to become a pool of liquid wax and you'll get the most fragrant scent possible.


Keep the wick trimmed to 1/8 inch at all times.


Ideally, burn River Birch Candles for 90 minutes to 2 hours. and never more than four hours at a time.


Store candles in a cool, dark and dry place when not in use


When only 1/2" or 10mm of candle wax remains, it's time to discontinue use, and perhaps try a new River Birch Candle Scent.

Policies

What is the return policy?

We do not accept returns. All claims for shortages and/or damages must be reported to River Birch Candles within 5 calendar days of receipt of merchandise. After a review of your request, an exchange will be completed or a credit will be applied to a future purchase. Exchanges or credit towards future purchases will be based on the value of the merchandise at the time of purchase. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

What is the cancelation policy? + change request to orders

As each order is made just for you, we need to be notified that you would like to cancel or change your order before 9AM CST the calendar day after you place your order. After that point, we are unable to cancel or change the order because all supplies have been ordered and the production of your order has begun.

My package is missing/items are missing

Let us know within 2 calendar days of the reported delivery date of your package(s) so we can work to find the package. Delivery services may say it is delivered 1 day before it is.

Duties + Customs Fees

We are no longer paying duties or any fees associated with shipping outside the US. You will be responsible for any of these costs.

If an order is shipped back to us because the duties were not paid, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the package back to us and the cost of shipping the package back to you, as well as any fees that occured.
